Like the liquid act-Cor rust activator, this gel-based product is designed for rusting metal and Corten steel surfaces. The gel is green in color and has a fairly thick texture, making the surface coating easier to control. This product is highly recommended for coating vertical surfaces—ceilings, walls, steep surfaces, and generally hard-to-reach areas (because the applied gel does not run and remains intact where you want to create the rust effect).

This product can also be used to „re-rust” products and create textures on the surface. When applying additional layers, they bond together, requiring a longer than usual drying time. The gel can be applied with a spatula, roller, or brush (according to your preference), achieving a greater rust-creating effect. In this way, unique finishes and patterns can be easily created. With the help of this gel, it is possible to re-rust surfaces that have already rusted before, giving them a lighter tone.

Using act-Cor gel, it is possible to achieve the desired orange color (primary oxidation color), which is usually extremely difficult to obtain due to factors such as humidity, unremoved slag, sheet thickness, etc., even after using the liquid act-Cor activator.

Another feature of this product is that it forms a much less greasy rust layer on the surface than on surfaces treated with act-Cor liquid spray. Even when the gel is left unfixed with bp-Cor, the product will be less greasy.

VERY IMPORTANT: The storage and use temperature of this product is 10-25°C. Exceeding these temperature limits may cause the product to become liquid. Please read the product’s technical description carefully to ensure proper and safe use.
