bp-COR is a product used as an oxidation inhibitor, designed to stop rusting processes on Corten metal surfaces when rusting is induced with act-COR.
After spraying bp-COR on a product and then raining, the surface washes away, and the surface rust layer may run off. „Patina” oxidation streaks may be visible on adjacent surfaces for 4-5 months. Durable protection develops over time (within 4-5 months) under different environmental conditions.
Oxidation is stopped, and the product becomes non-smudge and smooth. The oxidizer can be used indoors (walls, ceilings, decorations, etc.) or outdoors, but we recommend using a varnish to achieve complete product protection, obtain different gloss tones, etc.
bp-COR is a liquid concentrated emulsion. It must be diluted with 50% water before use (avoid water with a high calcium content).
During application, the product is milky in color and disappears after complete drying. The final result is a thin layer that may slightly darken the initial tones of the artificially induced rust.
