This polyurethane varnish consists of two components in a ratio of 10:1; it is a transparent varnish with medium viscosity/durability and a very short drying time between coats. This product creates an extremely strong layer for Corten steel surfaces that are stored outdoors. It adheres perfectly when applied over bz-Cor varnish, leaving a smooth and even velvety surface.

Please ensure that bz-COR POLYURETHANE SAT-EX varnish is used on CORTEN steel that is either cold-rolled or hot-rolled and has been sandblasted to remove slag.
Before using any varnish, it is essential to stop oxidation using bp-Cor fixative, leaving the surface to dry for at least 48 hours. Depending on the type of varnish, bz-Cor varnish must be applied first, acting as a protective film between the surface (oxidation + fixation) and the selected varnish. In this case, always apply bz-COR varnish first, then bz-COR POLYURETHANE SAT-EX.
